In the history of the Balkans one can read about the uprising against the Ottoman oppression, which erupted in Biala Slatina and its severe crush. A lot of artifacts can be seen in the History Museum in Vratza. The town plan has been made in accordance with the Greek model and that’s why it is famous for its straight streets, which lead to the central part. The abundance of trees and flourishing gardens in Biala Slatina make it look like a big park, which is especially beautiful in spring and autumn.
